Krage Olrich Takes 7th at Pescadero

Pescadero, CA -- Tam Cycling sent out a contingent of four racers to the Pescadero Road Race last Saturday. Krage Olrich was our fearless leader, taking the only Tam Cycling top ten of the weekend in the Elite Cat 4 division. But what is this? Your friendly Pack Fill Reporter is starting to sound like top tens are normal! Fortunately, she was shaken back to reality with her own 13th place finish in the Women's 4 race. Miguel Mestayer finished strong to finish midpack in the same race as Krage.

First Win for Rosencrantz

Climbing the Alps of San Jose is certain to make anyone stronger. Tom Rosencrantz (left) converted that painful experience into a victory, taking first in his Expert/Pro category at the Bogg's Mountain Cross Country Race last Sunday. Well done, Tom!

Meanwhile, at the Peavine Challenge in Reno, NV, that same weekend, both Cammie Urban (below, left) - in her first race this season! - and Jim Puckett (below, right) took second place in the the Women's Expert 40+ and Men's Sport 40+ categories respectively.

Jim's teammate Jack Pesso finished 4th, less than four minutes behind in this 19-mile race.
